Zeitraum – Timeless solid wood
Founded in 1990 in Wolfratshausen, just outside Munich, Zeitraum was born from a clear idea: to create modern furniture made entirely of solid wood — technically advanced yet essential and quiet in its language. Its name, German for «a span of time», is a statement of intent: durability and sustainability before any trend.
Every piece is made of certified solid wood — oak, ash, walnut — with natural oil finishes, in the tradition of cabinet-making that has been rooted in the Bavarian Alps for centuries. No hidden veneers or throwaway solutions: furniture designed to last for generations and to age beautifully.
The range spans beds, tables and chairs through to stools, benches and storage — many of which have become small classics of contemporary design, such as Twist, Morph, Nonoto, Zenso and Simple. The collections are developed with leading designers, above all the Formstelle studio, as well as Läufer + Keichel, David Chipperfield and KaschKasch.
At Mariani Design, official retailer in Milan and Arluno, you will find the Zeitraum collection with dedicated advice, made-to-measure configurations, delivery and assembly.

We listen, show you the alternatives in the catalogue and discuss any doubts about how well the product fits your space. Visualisation in renders or Virtual Reality, where needed, lets you understand it before you even place the order.
Delivery on your schedule, not the warehouse’s
We manage orders with the goal of finding the best window for you. If you have a building site, a deadline or a move coming up, we organise ourselves around those needs.
Someone you can trust in your home
Delivery and assembly are carried out by a Mariani employee: a person from our company, not an on-call subcontractor. Many of our clients give us direct access while they are at work. If something is not right during assembly, there is someone who comes back — not a ticket number.
Before, during and after
We are not a store with staff that changes every season. The person who helped you choose is the same person who manages the delivery and who answers if, three months later, there is an issue. A stable structure, where relationships last longer than a single purchase.
