JURA, since 1931
JURA has been a Swiss brand since 1931, based in Niederbuchsiten. Its machines do one thing, and do it well: coffee from whole beans, freshly ground on the spot, without capsules. From ristretto to cappuccino, all the way to the Cold Brew specialities of the latest models.
In Italy JURA is distributed by BSD, which also runs its official customer service.
By the numbers
You taste the difference from the first espresso: the coffee is ground a moment before it is brewed.
What to try when you see it in person
- Listen to the grinder. The grinder (Professional Aroma Grinder, P.A.G.) adjusts the fineness of the grind. In the Z10 the P.R.G. recognises the chosen speciality and changes the grind by itself.
- Taste a ristretto. With the pulse extraction process (P.E.P.®), JURA optimises the extraction time for short specialities.
- Try a cappuccino. The milk is frothed into a fine-foam texture. Cleaning the milk system is automatic, at the touch of a button (A8).
- Look at the display. On the A8, four buttons and a 2.8″ colour display are all you need. The S10 and Z10 have a 4.3″ touchscreen.
- Measure the space. The A8 is 19 cm wide. The E10 and S10 are 27 cm wide. The CLARIS Smart+ filter protects the machine from limescale and is recognised automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Bean-to-cup or capsule machine: what is the difference?
With a JURA you use whole coffee beans, freshly ground every time: you choose the blend and there are no capsules to throw away.
How much space does it need?
The A8 measures 19 × 37 × 44.5 cm (W × H × D). The E10 and S10 are 27 cm wide. If you like, we help you find the right place in the kitchen.
Which models also make cappuccino?
The A8, E10, S10 and Z10 also prepare milk specialities. The E4 makes coffee only.
Can it be controlled from a smartphone?
Yes, with the J.O.E. app. On the A8 you need the Wi-Fi Connect V2 accessory.
