Quooker is the tap that gives you 100 °C boiling water instantly and, with the CUBE system, chilled filtered and sparkling water too: no more kettle, no more crates of bottled water. The idea of boiling water straight from the kitchen tap came to Henri Peteri in Rotterdam in 1970. The first prototype followed in 1974, and the first units went to friends and family. In 1985 his son Niels picked the project back up, and in 1988 it got its name: Quooker, from quick and cooker.
Today the company is run by the brothers Niels and Walter Peteri, is based in Ridderkerk in the Netherlands and employs more than 450 people. Over the years came the Fusion tap (2013), the Flex (2017), the CUBE (2018) and the Front (2022).
A small tank under the sink keeps the water at 108 °C thanks to pressurised insulation: on standby it uses 10 watts, less than a WiFi router. The water comes out of the tap at 100 °C, straight away, whenever you need it.
Finishes range from chrome and stainless steel to black and gold, as well as gunmetal, rose copper and patinated brass (availability varies by model). The full catalogue is on Quooker's website: we help you choose the one that works with your worktop, sink and the rest of the kitchen.

To get boiling water you have to push the handle twice and then turn it: a light ring tells you it is on. The spout is insulated, boiling water comes out as fine droplets rather than a full jet, and the tap is fixed to the worktop so it cannot tip over. All the details are on Quooker's safety page.

A Quooker works best when it is planned together with the kitchen: space in the sink cabinet, electrical connection, the hole in the worktop, matching sink and finishes. We build it into our Effeti and Dibiesse kitchens, and we can also add it to the kitchen you already have, with our own assembly team.
