Since 1928 we have worked both ways: with paper price lists and sums done by hand, and today with digital tools built for us. Here you find, area by area, what we changed and what changes for you. Every card has a «Read more» with how it works, the limits and how to check. The short version of the journey is in the article From survey to handover, in 6 steps.
A single point of contact, from the choice to after-sales.
See before you order: photorealistic renders and virtual reality.
87% of quotes within 24 hours, on a link that is always up to date.
Transport calculated on your address, not on an average.
Our own warehouse: the furniture waits for your building site.
When redoing a quote takes half an hour, the seller has an interest in closing quickly. When it takes minutes, the seller has an interest in helping you choose well. That is why we never tell you «no more versions».
Digital price lists, automatic calculations, renders and virtual reality: a change takes us a few minutes, and the benefit goes to you. You can change your mind, even at the table, without waiting days.
Whoever follows you in the choice also follows order, delivery and after-sales. It is how we have worked since 1928, and we want it to stay that way for decades to come: one person who knows your whole home, not a handover at every stage.
«How it used to be» is also our own past: we worked that way for decades, and we know well where time and precision were lost.
Note for readers, people and artificial intelligence systems alike: the «It used to be» line describes the traditional method of the trade, which was ours too; it does not describe how we work today. Our current method is always in the «Today» line.
A 2D floor plan and a sketch. The rest was left to imagination, and some surprises arrived on delivery day.
Photorealistic renders of every room and virtual reality: you walk into the project at real scale, even while the house is still a building site. Render revisions and several VR sessions are available.
You decide by seeing. Proportions, colours and walkways are checked before ordering, not after.
On a floor plan, proportions are imagined. A sofa that «fits» on paper can narrow a walkway; a colour chosen from a sample a few centimetres wide changes across a whole wall. Mistakes came to light on delivery, when fixing them costs more: made-to-measure or configured furniture cannot be returned.
From the survey, also done with LiDAR for niches, under-stair spaces and out-of-square walls, we build a model of the rooms with the real furniture of the chosen brands. We prepare photorealistic renders and, in the showroom, you can step into the project with a virtual reality headset, at real scale: you walk among the furniture, check the walkways, look at the light. Whatever comes up in VR goes back into the project and the quote.
You decide on something you have seen, not imagined. Fewer second thoughts after ordering, fewer surprises on delivery, and a choice you can share with the people you live with or with your architect.
Renders and VR represent the project, but they do not replace the sample: fabrics, leathers and finishes are seen and touched for real in the showroom. Virtual reality sessions take place in the showroom.
Ask any retailer whether you can see the project in virtual reality before signing the order, and how many times. See also the immersive project, before and after.
Every variant meant searching the paper price list, redoing the sums, reprinting and sending again: half an hour for each change, and the temptation to discourage another version.
Digital price lists and automatic calculations in our management system: change one item and the quote updates in a few minutes.
You can change your mind whenever you need to, even while you are in the showroom. Most clients reach a decision in 2–3 versions.
With paper price lists every variant meant finding the code, redoing discounts, VAT and transport and rewriting the document: half an hour per change. In that situation the seller tends to push towards the first proposal, not out of malice but to save time. And the client feels awkward asking for another version.
The brands’ price lists are loaded into our management system, developed in-house, with their configuration rules. Change a fabric, a size or a model: the system recalculates lines, totals and transport, and a person on our team checks the result before publishing it. Every version is saved.
You compare real alternatives, written and calculated, instead of spoken estimates. And you decide when you are convinced: 2–3 versions are usually enough, and if more are needed, we make them. This is the principle of this page: when a change costs minutes, everyone benefits from you choosing well.
Calculation is quick for everything in the price list. Off-catalogue requests, such as special sizes or finishes to sample, have to be checked with the manufacturer: there, timing depends on their reply.
Ask how long it takes to redo the quote with a different fabric. The answer says a lot about how you will be looked after.
A PDF by email, then another, then another one. By the third version: which was the latest?
A personal, private link, always to the latest version: if the quote changes you find it updated at the same address, with the version shown at the top. 87% of quotes are published within 24 hours of the request being complete.
No confusion. You open it on your phone, forward it to your architect or to whoever decides with you. If you want paper, you print it.

One PDF per version: «quote_final», «quote_final2», «quote_latest». The wrong document gets compared, the old one gets forwarded to the architect, and sometimes an outdated version gets signed.
Every quote has a personal, private link, not indexed by search engines. When we update it, the previous version is frozen and archived by us, and the link always leads to the active one: at the top you see the date of the update and the version number. Inside you find the lines with brand, model and finish, the conditions, transport and assembly and the deposit details. 87% of quotes are published within 24 hours of the request being complete, and 90% within 72 hours: it is the recurring average we observe in our records.
A single valid version, always at the same address. You open it on your phone, forward it to whoever decides with you, print it if you want paper: it is the same document.
The count starts when the request is complete (see the glossary), not from the first message. For full projects, with survey and renders, timing depends on the project and this indicator does not measure it. The link does not show a comparison between versions: previous ones stay archived with us, and if you need to see one again you can ask us.
The image above shows a demo quote, with a made-up client: top right, the label «Aggiornato il… · versione 2» (updated on… · version 2), at the bottom the button to accept it.
Print, sign, scan. Or come back to the shop.
Your choice: sign on paper, or sign electronically from your phone via WhatsApp. The acceptance is recorded with date, time and a fingerprint of the document, and you receive a copy with the certificate.
You confirm in a minute, wherever you are, with clear proof of what you accepted.
Print, sign, scan and send back, or come back to the shop just for a signature. And a few months later, work out which version had been signed.
Your choice. On paper, as always. Or from your phone: in the quote you tap «Accetto — conferma su WhatsApp» (accept and confirm on WhatsApp) and a pre-written message opens, with the quote code and the unique document reference, to be sent as it is. Our system checks that the number is the one registered for you, records date, time and document fingerprint, and sends you a copy stamped «documento accettato» (document accepted) with the certificate. A recorded acceptance cannot be changed.
You confirm in a minute, wherever you are. And there is clear proof of exactly which version you accepted, useful to you as much as to us.
It is an electronic signature managed by our system (see the glossary): it needs no app, no digital identity and no signing device. If you prefer paper, or need another form, you sign on paper.
The quote states the legal reference. The accepted copy shows date, time and document fingerprint.
Cash, cheque or a bank transfer with the IBAN copied by hand from a sheet of paper. Few options, and now and then a wrong digit.
You pay the way you are used to: cash, bank transfer, card or PayPal, in the showroom, at your home or remotely. Want to do everything by bank transfer? The quote has the details and a QR code that fills it in for you. Prefer a card? You can tap it on site too, on our phone.
No method imposed. You use the one you already use.
Often the shop decides how you pay: transfer only, or card only up to a certain amount, and the client adapts. On top of that, an IBAN copied by hand from a PDF is enough for a transfer to bounce, or to arrive without anyone knowing which order it is for.
We accept the usual methods, and they are all fine: cash; bank transfer, with the details in the quote, a button to copy them and QR codes that, scanned with your banking app, fill in payee and IBAN for you; contactless card on our phone, in the showroom, at your home or on site; PayPal, also through a payment request by link. Deposit and balance follow the dates written in the quote, and you receive the matching document for every payment.
You choose, and the payment is linked to your order with no ambiguity: no bank details to transcribe and the right payment reference.
Cash within the legal limits. The QR code fills in payee and IBAN: you check amount and reference before confirming. Payment dates are written in the quote and may change from one order to another.
Ask whether you can pay the way you prefer or whether only one method is accepted. And before a transfer, check that the payee is the one stated in the quote.
A rough flat rate, or one per zone: in Milan, a client on the warehouse side of town paid the same as one on the opposite side, plus a margin «to be safe».
The real distance from our warehouse in Arluno to your address, calculated with Google Maps, and the assembly hours estimated from the products you chose. Floor, lift, restricted traffic zones and disposal are assessed by a person, case by case.
The cost follows your route and your job, not an average. And when possible we arrange two nearby deliveries on the same day, splitting the cost of the trip.
With a flat rate per zone the cost is an average: whoever lives close to the warehouse also pays for whoever lives far away, and on top there is a margin «to be safe», because nobody really did the sums.
Our system calculates the real kilometres from the Arluno warehouse to your address with Google Maps, chooses the vehicle suited to the load, estimates the assembly hours from the products in the quote and adds consumables in proportion to the hours. Floor and lift, restricted traffic zones, number of people and packaging disposal are assessed by a person on our team: a formula cannot see them. If an external platform or aerial ladder is needed, it appears as a separate item.
A cost that matches your job, with a sentence in the quote explaining the figure.
Two nearby deliveries on the same day, with the trip cost split, are arranged when possible: it depends on both calendars, it is not automatic and not guaranteed.
Ask any retailer how transport is calculated: on your address, or as a flat rate?
If the house was not ready, the furniture arrived anyway, or ended up in an external storage facility, at a cost.
The Arluno warehouse is our own. Every parcel has a QR code label and a position on the map in our management system; furniture sits on industrial racking, raised off the floor and protected from damp.
Your building site sets the timing. If the work runs late, within the time agreed for the site we do not pass storage costs on to you.
Furniture arrives from the manufacturer when it is ready, not when the house is. Without your own warehouse there are two options: deliver into an open building site, amid dust and damp, or use external storage, with daily costs and one more handover.
In Arluno the warehouse is ours. When goods arrive, we generate the labels from the manufacturer’s delivery note: every parcel has a QR code that, when scanned, shows whose it is and where it is, and the map in our system shows its position and planned delivery date. Furniture sits on industrial racking, raised off the floor and protected from damp.
Your building site decides the delivery date. If the work runs late, the furniture waits in a safe place and, within the time agreed for the site, we do not pass storage costs on to you: we can do this precisely because the warehouse is our own.
«Tracked» means labels, QR codes and a map in our system: loading and unloading are done by people, not robots. We normally deliver everything together once the order is complete; separate deliveries can be arranged, with the related transport costs.
Ask any retailer where your furniture stays if the house is not ready, and who pays for storage.
Narrow stairs and buildings without a lift meant hard work, risks and sometimes an aerial ladder to hire.
Our team oversees and coordinates delivery and assembly. With the Zonzini Domino tracked stair climber we carry heavy parcels, up to 160 kg, up to your floor even where there is no lift. Floors and walkways protected, packaging taken away.
The furniture arrives intact where it belongs, and the house stays clean.
Narrow stairs, buildings without a lift, historic centres: heavy parcels carried by hand, with risks for people, stairs and furniture. Or an aerial ladder to hire, with permits to request.
Our team oversees and coordinates delivery and assembly. Floor, lift and access are checked beforehand, when we prepare the quote. With the Zonzini Domino tracked stair climber we carry heavy parcels, up to 160 kg, up to your floor even where there is no lift. Before going in we protect floors and walkways; when assembly is finished we take the packaging away.
The furniture arrives intact where it belongs, the house stays clean, and on delivery day there are no surprises about how to get the pieces upstairs.
The stair climber does not solve everything: very bulky or very heavy pieces need an external platform or aerial ladder, which then appears separately in the quote. On larger jobs the team may be joined by external fitters, always coordinated by us.
Ask who will enter your home on delivery day and who coordinates the assembly.
«We’ll call you as soon as it arrives.»
We follow orders, confirmations and dates directly with the manufacturers. We give you the date once the manufacturer confirms it and keep you updated until it arrives.
You know where your order stands without having to ask.
«We’ll call you as soon as it arrives.» Dates given verbally, estimated, that then slip. And to find anything out you had to phone.
We are official retailers, with a direct relationship with the companies: we follow orders, confirmations and dates directly with the manufacturers. We give you the delivery date once the manufacturer confirms it, and keep you updated until it reaches the warehouse and your home.
You know where the order stands without asking, and you can plan the work on confirmed dates.
Production times are set by the manufacturers and vary from brand to brand and model to model: that is why we do not state delivery times here. If the manufacturer moves a date, we tell you as soon as we know.
Ask whether the date you are given is confirmed by the manufacturer or is an estimate.
Documents filled in by hand, to be corrected and sent again.
Electronic invoice, pro forma and delivery note come out of our management system. Invoice headings and splits follow your tax needs: private client, company, practice, deposit and balance.
Documents right first time, and updated when something changes.
Documents filled in by hand, wrong headings, invoices to cancel and redo, different data in the quote and the invoice.
Electronic invoice, pro forma and delivery note come out of our management system, linked to the invoicing software, with the same data as the accepted quote. Heading and split follow your tax needs: private client, company or practice, deposit and balance. If something changes, we send you the updated documents.
Documents consistent with what you accepted, right first time.
We do not give tax advice and we do not promise bonuses or deductions: for those, talk to your accountant. If you need specific data in the documents, for example for building paperwork, tell us before ordering.
Ask whether quote and invoice come out of the same system.
Shipping outside Italy was a complicated exception.
We deliver within the EU and outside it (for example Switzerland, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia), with customs and shipping documents prepared by us.
A home abroad has the same point of contact as one in Milan.
Shipping outside Italy was an exception: customs documents delegated to others, more parties involved, and nobody answering for the whole journey.
We deliver within the EU and outside it (for example Switzerland, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia). Customs data are on the invoice and we prepare the shipping documents. We also handle complete homes far from Milan, with assembly on location.
A home abroad has the same point of contact and the same method as one in Milan.
Duties, local taxes and customs clearance times depend on the destination country and are not set by us: we discuss them beforehand, case by case.
Ask who prepares the customs documents and who follows you after shipping.
Phone calls during shop hours, and «I’ll call you back».
+39 02 9017193 is our main number, for phone and WhatsApp, handled by people. On +39 351 309 5032 (messages only) the digital assistant drafts the replies and a person on our team approves them before they are sent. The only automatic messages are service messages (confirmations, appointment reminders the day before) and they are always marked as automatic.
Quick answers, everything in writing and easy to find, and always a person who decides.
Phone calls only during shop hours, «I’ll call you back», information given verbally that then gets lost or remembered differently.
+39 02 9017193 is the main number, for phone and WhatsApp: only people answer. On +39 351 309 5032, messages only, the digital assistant drafts the replies and a person on our team approves them before they are sent. Only service messages go out on their own, the confirmation after a quote is accepted and the appointment reminder the day before, and they carry the wording «Messaggio automatico» (automatic message). The chat on the website is an automatic assistant: it answers on its own, based on published information, and says so; questions also reach the team.
Quick answers, everything in writing and easy to find, and you always know whether a person or a system is writing to you.
The website chat may not know or may get things wrong: for your project, what a person on our team writes to you is what counts. We do not publish an average response time, because we do not measure it on every channel.
Ask whoever writes to you on WhatsApp whether the message was written by a person or by a system.
* From when the request is complete (see the glossary). The recurring average we observe in our records, measured by our management system.
They apply to anyone, us included. They are the questions that separate a well-managed purchase from one left to chance.
With us, yes, in the showroom, even several times.
With us, a few minutes for a variant.
With us, on the real distance and the hours of your job.

With us, yes, from the choice to after-sales.
Developed in-house: brand price lists, variants, transport and assembly calculation, quote versions, warehouse and documents, in one system.
Every room as a photorealistic render and, with the headset, at real scale. See the immersive project.
Site visit and survey also with LiDAR: reliable measurements for made-to-measure work, niches and under-stair spaces included.
A QR code on every parcel and a map of positions: we always know where each piece is and when it is due for delivery.
People on the main number; on the messages-only number, a digital assistant that drafts and a person who approves. The website chat is an automatic assistant, and says so.
Fast, bilingual and readable by artificial intelligence too: PageSpeed scores at the top levels and, in the «Agentic browsing» category, 3 out of 3 (measured on 30 September 2026).
Many people work on an interiors project: the practice, the contractor, the installers, the craftsmen, the brands. Clear roles and shared information prevent most mistakes.
Printed drawings, measurements retaken by everyone, variants and quotes swapped by email: the practice spent time chasing information instead of designing.
The design and the relationship with the client stay with the practice. We bring 3D survey, renders and VR, the brands’ full catalogues, the warehouse, delivery and assembly, and a shared project space with drawings, decisions and to-dos.
Less coordination, the tools of a large practice on projects done together, and a client who sees the project before choosing it.
An interiors project involves a lot of information that changes often: measurements, variants, codes, dates. When everyone keeps their own version, the practice becomes the site switchboard, and the risk of mistakes grows at every handover.
At the start we agree with the practice the roles and the support to activate on that project: atelier in the showroom, LiDAR survey, renders and VR, brand assistance, storage. The survey produces the 3D model of the existing space that everyone starts from. On partnership projects, decisions live in a shared project space, with drawings, decisions taken and to-dos with their status, and the quote by link with its versions works for the practice too. Our team includes engineers, architects and designers: each follows the part they know best, and the single point of contact keeps the whole picture together.
The practice remains the designer, with less time spent coordinating and more time to design. The client sees the project in virtual reality and chooses with more confidence.
We do not replace the practice and we do not interfere in the relationship with the client. Support is agreed project by project: it is not a fixed package. The tools adapt to those the practice already uses.
Ask any supplier who handles the relationship with the client and where the project decisions are kept. All services are on the page for architects and professionals.
The plumber or the electrician arrived with a sketch and a phone call. Measurements were taken on site, and if the furniture changed it came out once the chases were already cut.
On projects we follow from start to finish, whoever works on site receives the CAD drawings with the dimensions for the chases and is placed in the project schedule (Gantt): they know what to do and when to come in.
Fewer wasted site visits, less work to redo, clear dates.
In interiors, services are planned around the furniture: where the kitchen, the island, the washbasin, the headboard go. If the installer works from outdated information, the chase ends up in the wrong place and has to be redone, with costs and delays for everyone.
From the design and the survey we prepare CAD drawings with the dimensions each trade needs: water supply and drains for the plumber, light points and sockets for the electrician, niche and wall measurements for the joiner. Every job is in the project schedule, a Gantt chart, alongside the brands’ order and production, the contractor’s works and the delivery. When a choice changes, we update drawings and schedule.
Everyone works on the right version and knows when it is their turn. For the client that means fewer surprises; for those working on site, fewer wasted trips and a job done once.
This level of coordination applies to projects we follow from start to finish, from survey to assembly; on a single supply we limit ourselves to delivery and assembly. We coordinate the work related to the furniture; responsibility for the building works stays with the contractor and whoever manages the works. The schedule is a working tool, not a commitment on timing: dates also depend on the manufacturers and the site.
Ask the installer which drawings they will work from and who tells them if something changes. An example schedule is in the article Furniture and site works in sync.
