Arflex Jules & Jim are two armchairs with an essential shape: an enveloping back, a soft seat and four slender legs. The Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune designed them in 2015. Here at Mariani, official Arflex retailers in Milan and Arluno, we help you choose size, base and upholstery.

Arflex describes them simply: two simple armchairs, with a high seating comfort. Jules is the small version, Jim the larger one. Same line, different proportions: you choose according to your space and how you like to sit, including as a pair.
Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in 1995 as an architectural office, but in the classic Scandinavian way it is multi-disciplinary: architecture and design go hand in hand. Its built projects include the Sfera Building culture house in Kyoto and the Swedish Ambassador's residence in Berlin.
For Arflex the studio has designed a wide collection, from the Hug armchair to the Tokio sofa system and the Yuzu armchair. Jules & Jim, from 2015, is its take on the essential armchair.
