The Arflex Tokio is a sofa to look at like a piece of architecture: full volumes, rounded corners and units that come together into straight, corner, island and curved layouts. Arflex describes the Tokio in a few words: generous proportions and a friendly, soft but still very architectural geometry. It is a system born in 2018, for anyone who wants a deep, welcoming sofa without giving up a clean design.
In 2022 the collection grew with storage units, drawers, shelves and service tables that slot in between the seats: the sofa also becomes the living room's surface for books, lamps and cups.
Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in 1995 as an architectural office and works, in the classic Scandinavian way, across disciplines: architecture and design together. Its architecture includes the Sfera Building in Kyoto and the Swedish Ambassador's residence in Berlin.
The Tokio, designed for Arflex in 2018, carries that architect's eye: soft volumes, generous proportions and a precise geometry. In 2022 Arflex expanded the collection with storage units, drawers, shelves and service tables.

It depends on the composition, from a curved or straight sofa to large layouts, and on the fabric. We are official Arflex retailers and work on the current price list: choose the units and message us on WhatsApp, we will send you a quote for your composition.
The Arflex catalogue lists sofas of 244, 276 and 308 cm; one-arm and corner units of 122, 138 and 154 cm; armless units of 90, 106 and 122 cm. Depths are 106 and 122 cm, plus 138 cm for armless units. Island units, curved sofas and poufs complete the system.
The Tokio is upholstered in Arflex fabrics: wools, linens, viscose, bouclé, chenille, canvas and textures. The feet are metal in a Grafite finish.
