The Arflex Brigitte is an armchair built around comfort, in two versions: the Brigitte, open and roomy, and the Brigitte bergère, with a high back that wraps around you. Arflex describes the Brigitte and the Brigitte bergère as generous and welcoming, with a high degree of seating comfort. The seat is roomy: in the armchair it lets you change position freely, to read, curl up or stretch out.
The bergère adds a high back with side wings and becomes, in Arflex's words, a soft, semi-private personal space to retreat into: the right chair for a reading corner or a bedroom.
Claesson Koivisto Rune began in 1995 as an architecture practice and grew into a multidisciplinary studio working on both buildings and objects, in the Scandinavian tradition.
Its designs are produced by more than thirty international manufacturers. For Arflex the studio has designed, among others, the Hug armchair, the Tokio sofa and the Delta Vienna armchair. The Brigitte, from 2024, is one of its most recent projects.
The rounded armrests and the generous seat stand on slim iron feet: the volume stays soft, yet the chair looks light, even in the bergère version.

The price of the Brigitte depends on the version, Brigitte or Brigitte bergère, and on the upholstery, from fabric to leather. We are official Arflex retailers: we work from the current price list and send you a quote for your configuration.
You choose the version, the fabric or leather and the finish of the feet. In our showroom you can touch the samples and compare them in real light.

The Brigitte has an open, roomy seat that leaves you free to change position. The bergère has a high, winged back and offers a more enclosed, private space.
In fabric, from the chenille, wools, bouclé, cotton velvet, canvas and textures of the Arflex range, or in Ambra and Giada leathers. The feet are iron, black or graphite.
